Assistance is available for physically disabled recipients with more extensive limitations.
OBRA, Independence and COMMCARE Waivers
Homemaker Service offers assistance with daily living services to consumers receiving in-home service through these waivers. A consumer can request that Homemaker Service assist them by contacting their supports coordinator.
Services Available
- Assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, oral hygiene, assist with transferring
- Meal preparation and assistance with eating
- Light housekeeping, grocery shopping, laundry
Eligibility
- Age 18 and older
- Is physically disabled with a disability that substantially impacts functional abilities.
Cost to Consumer
Services for these waivers are funded through the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare and are provided at no cost for individuals who meet the financial requirements established by the State.
